New Brunswick 55+ Games
About the Games
The New Brunswick 55+ Games is a bi-annual event that allows individuals to connect, stay active, and have fun in a supportive and friendly environment. This is possible through their participation in the event’s various activities. Those activities include both physical and cognitive games to help promote a balanced and attainable path to active living.
The physical activities include pickleball, tennis, disc golf, golf, swimming, and more! For more information regarding the physical activities, please visit the activities page.
The cognitive activities include cribbage, scrabble, auction 45’s, and more! For more information regarding the cognitive activities, please visit the activities page.
To introduce a similar level of competitiveness to that of the Canada 55+ Games, participants will represent their region of the province at the New Brunswick 55+ Games. Participants will be divided into the following regions.
Mission
To remain aligned with our organization’s mission to create a healthier and happier province, the New Brunswick 55+ Games will promote healthy aging for New Brunswick’s 55+ community through physical and cognitive games.
Values
Recreation New Brunswick | Loisirs N.-B. value is committed to, and will actively promote, the values upheld by the Canadian Senior Games Association of fun, fitness and friendship. We place importance on, and value, establishing spaces that foster social connection with the goal of increasing sense of community and belonging among New Brunswick’s 55+ community.
