The 55+ Games are a biennial event promoting healthy aging through physical, social, and cognitive activities. They bring individuals 55 and older to compete and have fun in various sports and games.
What type of activities are included in the 55+ Games?
The 55+ Games feature a wide range of activities that include, pickleball, swimming, bowling, darts, scrabble, auction 45’s and more. For more information on the activities, click here Activities.
Who can participate in the 55+ Games?
Anyone who is 55 and older who resides in New Brunswick.
Are the 55+ Games competitive or recreational?
The Games cater to all skill levels, offering competitive and recreational opportunities to suit all participants.

How can I register for the 55+ Games?

What is the registration fee?
The registration fee will vary depending on the events chosen. More information pertaining to registration fee will be provided at a later date.
What is the deadline for registration?

Can I register for multiple activities?
Yes, of course! participants can register for multiple activities, as long as there is no conflict with their scheduling.

Participation
Can I form a team for team sports?
Yes, you can register as a team or join an existing team. For assistance with registering a team, or joining an existing team, please contact the above contact.
Are spectators allowed?
Absolutely! Family, friends, and community members are encouraged to come and cheer on participants.
What should I bring to the 55+ Games?
Bring appropriate attire, equipment for your activities (if required), water, any personal essential items, and a positive attitude!
Accessibility and Support
Are the 55+ Games accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Yes, we strive to make the games inclusive. Please let us know about any specific accommodations you may require.
Will there be transportation to the events?
Transportation details will be shared closer to the event. Participants are encouraged to carpool to activities.
Are meals provided during the 55+ Games?
Participants will be provided with a meal during the opening and closing ceremonies. Food options will be available throughout the duration of the games, however, participants will be responsible for purchasing those meals.
Is there medical support on-site?
Yes, each venue will have a first-aid station accompanied by trained professionals.
