2026 Atlantic Recreation and Facilities Conference Travel Subsidy
Recreation N.B. | Loisirs N.-B. is offering a travel subsidy to support full-time recreation and facilities professionals in New Brunswick who wish to attend the 2026 Atlantic Recreation and Facilities Conference in Halifax, NS. This funding assists with professional development costs and helps strengthen recreation services across the province.
Funding source: Government of New Brunswick, Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture – Sport and Recreation Branch
About the Subsidy:
- Individual requests should not exceed $500.00.
- A maximum of one (1) subsidy per municipality or organization will be approved initially.
- If funds remain after the first round of approvals, Recreation NB | Loisirs N.-B. may reopen the process to allow additional applications from the same municipality or organization.
Applicant Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be full-time employed recreation or facilities professionals working within the province of New Brunswick.
- Applicants must demonstrate that they are able to fund the remaining costs associated with attending the Atlantic Recreation and Facilities Conference through other means.
- Applicants must demonstrate how attending the Atlantic Recreation and Facilities Conference will positively impact their daily work and their community.
- Applicants must complete the Atlantic Recreation and Facilities Conference Travel Subsidy Form online
